City-wide Libraries Assessment

San Antonio city-wide Libraries Assessment is a five year plan for budgeting needed repairs and replacements at the 22 branch libraries and the Central Library.  Our team of architects and engineers, through on site investigations, review of record drawings and previous reports, and interview of designated library facilities representatives, prepared existing conditions reports which formed the basis for the recommendations on needed projects and opinions of probable project cost.

The recommended repairs are reported in 10 major categories of work, generally grouped by architectural and specific engineering discipline.  To begin the framework for establishing a five year plan, each repair or replacement item identified in the categorization listing was given a priority ranking.  The priority ranking is not always the same as the plan year for accomplishing the work, but does guide the assignment of scope for each year in the final five year plan.
