The design and construction of the new one-story Eagle Pass Fire Station #2 involved the replacement of an aging facility with a modern new building that included four fire apparatus/EMS bays, public entry lobby and offices, firefighter sleeping quarters, kitchen, dining facilities, and a workout/training room. Situated along a major city street and adjacent to a retail center, the project presented unique challenges in maximizing functionality within the constraints of a small lot.
